The mission of the Airborne
Interpretive Association is to commemorate the history and achievements of the
American airborne soldier beginning in 1942 to those of the present day -- from
Sicily, Normandy and Holland in WWII, Korea in the fifties and Vietnam in the
sixties.
We accomplish this by putting on displays along with publicly-oriented living
history exhibits, classroom lectures and other public displays showing the
uniforms, equipment and weaponry of the airborne soldier along with drills and
participation in parades.
The Airborne Interpretive Association is unique in that we offer a publicly
interactive living history experience far superior to any book, motion picture
or documentary. Our members are available to interact with the public to answer
questions and provide an insight into the airborne soldier – what he thought,
heard and saw in that particular time period.
Feel free to contact us with any
questions, inquiries, or donations you may have.
